Tyholland GFC faced a major setback when their existing pitch lighting system became non-functional, leaving the club without safe, usable evening facilities. With training sessions relying heavily on an illuminated pitch, the club required a fast, full-scale upgrade – but without compromising on lighting performance or coverage.
Time was the biggest pressure point. Tyholland needed a complete lighting overhaul delivered as quickly as possible, including the removal of outdated fittings and installing a fully compliant, high-performing LED lighting system.
One-day full lighting overhaul
Indigo Sports Solutions stepped in with a fully managed, end-to-end lighting upgrade. Our in-house team began by removing the club’s non-functional lighting infrastructure, followed by off-site retrofitting of luminaires to existing brackets to minimise downtime. Once on site, our installation crew executed a tightly coordinated upgrade, installing 40 new luminaires designed to deliver optimal light levels, reliability, and uniformity across the entire playing surface.
Thanks to detailed pre-planning and synchronised on-site workflow, the installation was completed in just one day, with the system fully aligned, tested, and operational within six and a half hours. Despite the fast turnaround, every stage was carried out to the highest technical standard.
